"contactless" weaves together memory, connection, and loss through a sensory interplay of fabric, video, and sound. Stitched fabrics suspended from the ceiling create an immersive environment where viewers can step into a space where personal histories are made tangible. The projected video features clips from the site of contactless, a project where strangers are prompted to write letters to those they no longer have contact with. The accompanying audio combines the voices of the letters being read aloud with ambient sounds from the beach, layering intimacy and reflection with the ephemeral quality of the beach waves.
